Swiss Chalet
K2 Individual Series The Swiss Chalet K2 Individual
program is a competitive route for those 13 & 14 year old
racers with intent to refine the skills required to
perform at the AIM 2 train-to-train stage. Athletes are
preparing for more intensive training and competition at
the Junior and FIS level. The K2 Individual programs goal
is to develop ski specific physical and mental skills and
continue to develop the athlete's technical and tactical
skills.
Athletes participating in the Swiss Chalet
K2 Individual program are required to attend a pre-season
camp, commit to a dry land program and train a minimum of
three days/ week during the season. These pre–requisites
are managed and monitored by the program Head Coach.
K2 League The K2 League Race series is for
those 13 & 14 year old racers who prefer to compete in a
team based program. The K2 Team League can act as a
stepping stone to individual racing for some, but provides
an exciting, rewarding format that rewards both team and
individual performances. Emphasis continues to be on skill
development, camaraderie and fun.
